We speak to Shane about his career journey at Tic:Toc
If you ask anyone what Shane Thompson is known for, they’ll probably tell you something that relates to his generous spirit and willingness to share. Whether that means sharing his plentiful homegrown veggies, his home cooking, or his breadth and depth of industry knowledge and experience. Shane is a real team player and an asset to have at Tic:Toc. We asked Shane to share one more thing with us: an inside look at his time at Tic:Toc, and his journey to get here.

Tic:Toc has four very relevant values that you own as an employee, and the one that resonates the most with me is “We make time to be human”. Tic:Toc ensures that its people interact with each other, not just in a day-to-day employment capacity, but in a social way as well. We are not a number and we are not treated like one...we are "human".

Assessment of digital home loan applications, providing exceptional customer outcomes.
I had been in the hospitality industry for over 10 years and a change of career beckoned, so I applied with a bank and have been in the finance industry ever since.
I have a very eclectic range of music that I listen to. I don’t have a favourite artist. If I like a song whether it be from 50 years ago or the latest release, I will add it to my playlist.
Robin Williams, Vincent Van Gogh, Sir David Attenborough and Halle Berry.
